I haven’t seen anything this absurd since George Bush kissed and held Saudi King Abdullah’s hand.

This makes the president of the United States a laughingstock. Why did he participate in this bedouin tribal nonsense? He’ll get lampooned for it, but he apparently doesn’t care.
Here’s a video of Trump’s awkward dance.
Remember when Trump blamed Saudi Arabia for the 9/11 attacks?
“Who blew up the World Trade Center? It wasn’t the Iraqis, it was Saudi—take a look at Saudi Arabia, open the documents,” he told Fox News in February.
He didn’t really mean it. It was all a show to get you to pull the lever back in November.
During the campaign, Trump filed a financial disclosure with the Federal Election Commission. The documents reveal he was president and owner of THC Jeddah Hotel Advisor and DT Jeddah Technical Services Advisor.
BuzzFeed reported on May 18, 2016:
The documents do not detail the purpose of the Jeddah companies, and Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment… The companies tied to the apparent project in Saudi Arabia may be the most puzzling. In August, Trump incorporated a total of 8 firms with the name Jeddah. Four were dissolved within months; the remaining four remain active. There has been no public disclosure about the purpose of any of the companies.
“Saudi Arabia, I get along great with all of them. They buy apartments from me,” Trump said at a campaign rally.
He also did business with Qatar. The state-owned Qatar Airways has leased an office in Manhattan’s Trump Tower since 2008. In 2015, Ivanka Trump told Hotelier Middle East the Trump Hotel Collection was considering opportunities in Qatar.
The leaked Clinton emails show the United States is well aware Saudi Arabia and Qatar fund the Islamic State. Hillary Clinton wrote “the Saudis have exported more extreme ideology than any other place on earth over the course of the last 30 years.”
Last June, Clinton reprimanded the Gulf monarchies.
For starters, it is long past time for the Saudis, Qatari and Kuwaitis and others to stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations. And they should stop supporting radical schools and mosques around the world that have set too many young people on a path towards extremism.
Is Donald Trump aware of this? Did his NSC and intelligence agencies brief him on this? Did he see the unredacted version of the so-called 28 Pages? You’d think so.
It seems the president can’t be bothered by troublesome details. He’s left foreign policy up to his generals.
One last thing.
Is that sword the same kind the Saudis use to chop off heads?
