More evidence there is practically zero difference between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to foreign policy and making sure the wars are endless points of profit for the military-industrial complex.
Rudy deLeon is the latest leftist on the defense secretary’s list of potential nominees.

Ignore the “leftist” descriptor. It’s irrelevant, especially to the victims in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and previous targets in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.
Here’s all you need to know about Rudy de Leon—he used the revolving door in Washington to go from a staff position on the Armed Services Committee to senior vice president of Boeing Corporation, the folks who manufacture “Fighter jets, rotorcraft, embedded product support, cybersecurity products, surveillance suites, advanced weapons, missile defense” and other merchant of death and 4th Amendment busting spycraft specialities, according to the Boeing website.
De Leon also served in the Clinton administration as deputy secretary of defense. Mad Dog Mattis was his senior military assistant. One hand washes the other as a tidal wave of confiscated money and debt dumped on future generations continues to flow uninterrupted into MIC coffers.
He’s also a “foreign policy expert” for the Center for American Progress founded by none other than John Podesta. He worked for the Obama and Clinton administrations and for Hillary Clinton’s campaigns. CAP is funded by George Soros. Corporate donors include the Ford Foundation (CIA), Walmart, CitiGroup, Wells Fargo, and merchant of death Northrup Grumman. The United Arab Emirates also showered the organization with cash.
It supports the never-ending war in Afghanistan. “Force is reasonable according to just war theory if it is in defense against aggression, or in the protection of the vulnerable or allies,” write the Rev. Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite and Brian Katulis for CAP. The wholesale murder of people in that country is part of “broader moral questions,” according to the authors.
It’s business as usual at the Pentagon. The mindless partisan squabbling and stupidity we now endure serve as cover for the continuation of mass murder and war crimes.
